Thanks to Orange County Director John McCarey and County Executive Steve Neuhaus for working with the Town of Crawford to make the new walking trail a reality. Although it is closed for the season, it will be fully open and complete next spring with new loops more than doubling the size of the trail. It is a great addition to our community.
The Pine Bush Engineering Academy made another trip to Bonneville Salt Flats this summer. Their attempts to capture another record were stopped short after the motor lost the front cylinder. Nevertheless, the students were able to explore the pits, meet some great people, and also got a backstage look at the bub streamliner. They also got to meet seven time land speed record holder Valerie Thompson who is attempted to best her 304.265 mph run.
The Town of Crawford hosted a picnic for the Pine Bush Senior Citizens Club. It was a great time had by all. Thanks to the Crawford Police Department and PBA for cooking the food.
